Easy Way to Make a Difference Every Day

Sometimes it's hard to feel like one person can do anything to help save the planet - we're so small and so the problem seems so big and so far away! What can one person do?

The Rainforest Site provides an easy (and free!) way to help save the rainforest every day. Simply surf to their site and click the Preserve Endangered Land button. The site sponsors donate a little money for each click, and you get to feel good about contributing to the solution.

Columbus "Get Green" Business Conference

The Center for Resilience at Ohio State is hosting the Columbus Green Business Forum December 15. The conference is sponsored by Mayor Michael Coleman's "Green Team," as well as a number of local businesses.

What's a Buckeye?

The Ohio buckeye (Aesculus glabra) is the state tree of Ohio.

While there are Ohio buckeyes, California buckeyes, Texas buckeyes, red buckeyes, and yellow buckeyes, there has been no green buckeye. Until now!
