Lecture: Climate Change and Iceland
Joseph Fiksel at the OSU Center for Resilience forwarded this message to the SRCO listserv:The President of Iceland, Olafur Ragnar Grimsson, will be speaking at OSU’s Wexner Center this coming Monday at 2 PM.I was unable to find a link to a story or calendar entry on the OSU or Wexner Center sites, so I can't confirm any details.
The talk is entitled: “The Challenges of Climate Change: Iceland, a Laboratory for Global Solutions.” He will discuss climate and land use issues in Iceland within the context of global environmental concerns.
This is billed as a University Distinguished International Lecture, and the public is invited.
