Deadline Extended for Emerald Award Nominations
Way back in February we wrote about the SWACO Emerald Awards. The deadline for nominations has been extended to Friday, April 13 at 5:00 p.m., so it's not too late to nominate your favorite "innovative waste reduction and environmental stewardship programs of 2006" for recognition.Last year's winners included Whole Foods Market, the Columbus Crew, and New Albany Elementary School. What sustainable efforts are the organizations you're involved with making that might be worth a nomination?
